On a sunny Saturday morning in April, a cheerful crew of Locations Foundation volunteers gathered at Pearl City Highlands Elementary for a hands-on volunteer event in partnership with Hawaii 3Rs. Armed with brushes, buckets of brightly colored paint and a strong sense of aloha spirit, the group came ready to make a difference.
The Locations Foundation has been a long-time supporter of Hawaii 3Rs, whose mission is to “Repair, Remodel and Restore” Hawaii’s public schools. Many of our volunteers have pitched in to help Hawaii 3Rs complete school maintenance and beautification projects in the past—which came in handy, as they were able to share their experience and skills with new volunteers. From painting walkways and other common areas to general clean-up, each task completed helped create a brighter, more welcoming space for Pearl City Highlands Elementary students and staff.
The dedicated volunteer group included Locations agents Carol Y. Hayashi, Irene P. Tagata, Lori Mendoza Villalpando, Tiffany Kekumu and Wade Uehara, as well as employees Dori Fujimori, John Jacobson, Kiki King, Renee Dona and Tracey Okuhara.
“Projects like this aren’t just about physical improvements to Hawaii’s schools—they’re also about building relationships with other local non-profits who share our values and giving back to the communities where we live and work,” said event organizer and Foundation Executive Board member Jay Miller.

Locations Foundation Celebrates 25 Years of Its Backpack to School Drive, Preparing 500 Keiki for the New School Year
On July 17, 2026, Locations Foundation volunteers gathered at Locations’ Pearlridge office to stuff brand-new backpacks full of school supplies to help children in need across Oahu prepare for the upcoming school year. Thanks to the generosity of our agents, clients and friends, 500 keiki will begin the school year with the supplies they need—and the confidence they deserve.
Locations Foundation Treats Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii Families to a Special Screening of Toy Story 5
On June 20, 2026, the Locations Foundation welcomed 130 children, mentors, and chaperones from Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii (BBBS Hawaii) to a private screening of "Toy Story 5" at Consolidated Theatres Kapolei. The annual Movie Day event brought together local children and their families for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and community connection.
Locations Foundation Celebrates Special Olympics Hawaii Athletes at Victory Dance
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the spirit of celebration filled the University of Hawaii Dance Studios as athletes from across the state gathered for the Special Olympics Hawaii Athlete Victory Dance, part of the 56th Annual State Summer Games.
Locations Foundation Volunteers Support Community Cleanup in Kakaʻako
On Saturday, April 25, 29 volunteers from across the Locations family participated in the Mālama ʻĀina Community Cleanup in Kakaʻako, joining neighbors and community partners in a shared effort to care for the neighborhood. In about one hour, volunteers worked together to clean approximately 10 blocks across the Kakaʻako neighborhood of Honolulu — from Ala Moana Boulevard to Halekauwila Street — helping keep public spaces clean and welcoming.
