Saving Lives, One Donation at a Time: 2025 Halloween Blood Drive Recap
On Friday, October 31, 2025, the Locations Foundation once again teamed up with the Blood Bank of Hawaii to help save lives across our islands with our annual Halloween-themed blood drive.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our agents, staff and community members, we collected 29 blood donations—enough to save up to 87 lives! This year, we welcomed seven first-time donors, plus two MAX Red donors, who gave red blood cells through a special process that helps maximize the impact of each donation.
Blood donations from our drive will go to patients across Hawaii who are experiencing trauma, undergoing heart surgery or cancer treatment, receiving transplants, managing chronic illnesses or living with blood disorders. Every contribution counts, and we’re grateful for everyone who took time out of their day to give the gift of life.
This year’s drive was led by Locations Foundation Advisory Board member and Realtor Cannie Chum and hosted by Locations’ Pearlridge office. After donating in the blood bank’s Bloodmobile, volunteers rehydrated and refueled with an array of treats.
“The Foundation’s Halloween blood drive is a favorite Locations tradition and an inspiring example of what we can achieve when we come together to serve our community,” — Cannie Chum
We’re proud to continue supporting the Blood Bank of Hawaii’s mission. Together, we’re helping ensure that Hawaii’s hospitals have the lifesaving blood they need, today and every day.
