Locations Foundation Celebrates Special Olympics Athletes at Victory Dance
Locations Foundation Celebrates Special Olympics Athletes at Victory Dance
On a Saturday evening in June 2025, the University of Hawaii Dance Studios were filled with music, laughter and celebration as athletes from across the islands came together for the Special Olympics Hawaii Athlete Victory Dance, part of the 55th Annual State Summer Games. This milestone event honored the achievements of Special Olympics participants, and thanks to our dedicated Locations Foundation volunteers, the evening was made even more memorable.
Our team helped to transform the venue with colorful “under the sea”-themed decorations, creating a festive, welcoming space for athletes and their families to dance the night away. In addition to setting the scene, our volunteers provided a spread of snacks and refreshments to keep energy high and spirits even higher.
One of the biggest hits of the night was the craft booth hosted by our Foundation team. Athletes were invited to get creative with a variety of art supplies—designing keepsakes, cards, and other fun take-home crafts that added a personal touch to the celebration. The booth offered a relaxed, engaging space for self-expression and connection between volunteers and athletes alike.
The Athlete Victory Dance is more than just a party—it’s a moment to honor perseverance, sportsmanship and the joy of community. The Locations Foundation is proud to support this uplifting event and to stand alongside the amazing athletes who inspire us every day.
Mahalo to Special Olympics Hawaii for the opportunity to be part of the 55th Annual State Summer Games. We look forward to celebrating again next year!

Every day, school teachers across the Oahu dig deep into their own pockets to make learning come alive—buying art supplies, funding field trips and turning classrooms into laboratories for imagination. The Locations Foundation Teacher Awards Program was created to ease some of that financial burden, while giving our Foundation donors a chance to highlight the educators who have touched their lives.
