101 Wishes Granted: Locations Foundation Helps to Ensure a Merry Christmas for Keiki in Need

This holiday season, the Locations Foundation had the honor of partnering with The Salvation Army, Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division, to bring joy to children in need. Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, we fulfilled the wishes of 101 children from The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.

More than 35 volunteers from across the Locations ‘ohana—including agents and employees, along with staff from Locations Property Management, Premier Title and Escrow and Hawaii Mortgage Group—came together to make this effort possible. The Foundation provided more than $4,000 to purchase the gifts. Our incredible volunteers donated their time and energy to shop for the children, carefully selecting gifts to bring smiles to their faces.

Led by Foundation Advisory Board member Megumi Nekotani, a group of volunteers personally delivered the gifts to the Salvation Army’s Kauluwela Corps on December 9, 2024. The gifts will be distributed to several keiki attending the neighboring elementary school, as well as other children in need throughout the nearby community.

This effort is part of the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which runs every holiday season to provide gifts for keiki in need. Like The Salvation Army, the Locations Foundation believes that all children should feel the magic of Christmas during the holidays.

This annual tradition is a reminder of the power of community and collaboration. By working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. To all our volunteers who contributed their time, resources and heart to this initiative, mahalo nui loa—thank you very much. Their generosity embodies the true spirit of the season.

Here’s to continuing to spread aloha and making wishes come true, one gift at a time!
